    General

    Crowley's Ridge Development Council is seeking applicants for a Full-time Human Services Assistant for the St. Francis County Office. Will be responsible for carrying out duties assigned to him/her that will directly assist the Director and/or other program staff to complete program goals and functions. The clerk will be essentially responsible for assisting with the management’s clerical functions in an effort to coordinate, organize, meet required deadlines and complete assigned projects and reporting. Other basic duties include filing, organization of documents, typing and document preparation and professional phone skills.

    While working under general supervision of the Substance Abuse Director, the Substance Abuse counselor will be responsible for accepting counseling referrals from various sources, setting goals and objectives of treatment for each client, referring clients to sources of more intense treatment when necessary, and assisting clients and their families to regain a positive lifestyle.

    General

    Work under the direction of the Program Director, implement, and evaluate Prevention/Early Intervention programs in up to 7 counties. Complete training and preparation necessary to successfully achieve certification as a Certified Prevention Specialist within 18 months.
